When both of us decided to visit abroad last year both of us knew that both of us would have to be open minded when it came to some different things. The language barrier was nothing compared to the fact that food, lodging, plus regular driving were completely foreign to us. I have constantly been a picky eater to begin with at that point, so Bangers plus Mash were not something that appealed to me, and neither was the fact that all the beer was served quite warm. European countries have actually weird cultural traditions plus some of them actually made us downright uncomfortable, but one thing that both of us l personally gained along the way was the fact that “cooling system”, meant a totally weird thing to many folks. Several of the places that both of us stayed provided portable fans or regular old ceiling fans as their form of cooling instead of the a/c that both of us were accustomed to whatsoever. In fact, one of them had small bungalows with no windows at all because they actually wanted their guest to assume the fresh breeze. I suppose both of us should have taken time and researched better before booking some of our accommodations. Each night both of us were also ecstatic to get back lake home where our own Heating as well as A/C system keeps us comfortable with perfect un-even temperatures. I definitely will never take having a full Heating as well as A/C system for granted that is for sure. I know I will also never book a trip without verifying that they have actual heat plus a/c in place where both of us will be staying. Lesson l gained for sure!
