I absolutely enjoy shopping online, because things can be shipped and ordered with just the click of a button. It’s almost too easy to order online! Last week, I learned an expensive lesson. I decided to buy a small unit for the garage, the garage is usually sizzling hot as well as humid, because there is no way to cool the air. I have been keeping busy working on a project in the garage. I’m building a new wine holder from cedar, actually, it’s my first woodwork project. It’s been especially difficult to work in the heat. And that’s why I made the decision to buy a small AC to help bring some cool air flow. I was looking online for some time, before I made my purchase, then, unfortunately, I didn’t realize I had more than one unit in my cart. I clicked the one button ordering system. It bills the card on file as well as uses my saved information automatically. It literally takes just one click to complete my order. The three units were charged to my credit card. I didn’t realize I ordered three air conditioners, until they all arrived in the mail. I called the company to explain the mix-up. Since I purchased the air conditioners on clearance, they were against giving me a refund for the two extra air conditioners. I tried to tell them it was an oversight. But, they still refused to give me a refund. I had to speak with a supervisor, before I found someone to help with my plea. Fortunately, the supervisor agreed to refund the purchase price of the two units if I mailed them back the same day. At the end of it all, the new unit works great.
